Inclusions

Regent markets itself as “the most inclusive luxury experience,” and the headline difference is real: Regent typically includes shore excursions and frequently flights in its fares, plus all the dining, drinks and gratuities you’d expect.

Ships & suites

Explora sails a newer fleet (first ship in 2023, with LNG Evolution-class ships arriving from 2026). Standard terraces tend to be larger, and the design language is more contemporary.

Regent is best known for the Seven Seas Explorer/Splendor/Grandeur ships and the lavish Regent Suite. Its top suites are spectacular; its standard suites are excellent but its fleet skews slightly older.

Atmosphere

Explora feels design-led and understated; Regent feels classic luxury with a slightly more traditional cruising rhythm and a loyal repeat clientele.
